As a leader in the industry, John Hancock offers a comprehensive online and classroom training program to make it easy for producers to complete the new required training requirements set forth by the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 and the NAIC Producer Training Model. John Hancock and ClearCert
John Hancock is a proud member of ClearCert, the Long-Term Care Insurance Industry's Independent Information for Partnership Training. Although many courses have been approved by states for CE, courses still need to be validated by carriers as required by the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005. ClearCert represents carriers interests by maintaining a list of NAIC Partnership courses that have been validated by ClearCert. They also provide clear, no-nonsense information on how to gain - and maintain - compliance status with mandatory LTCi partnership training requirements as efficiently as possible - no matter how many states you represent. Classroom Training
We offer classroom training to meet the NAIC Partnership training requirements in each state before the state's training deadline, and also afterwards on a regular basis. Tom Orr with Senior Insurance Training Services is our lead trainer. He is an LTC insurance expert that specializes in Partnership training. To date, he has trained more than 15,000 agents on the California Partnership for Long Term Care program alone, and works extensively in other states as well. No other Partnership training organization has as much Partnership experience as Tom Orr.
Additionally, John Hancock's Regional Directors, National Training Directors and Distribution partners will be teaching Partnership classes.

Note: The original four Partnership states (California, Connecticut, Indiana, and New York) do not allow reciprocity for training or asset protection purposes. You will still need to take the required training in other states and training in those original four will not count toward any other states.
